With only a few more weeks to go, Slay the Stage contestants have realized they must prepare for anything.

On Saturday, they were sequestered into a soundproof area, sealed from the show as the night kicked off with a series of envelopes brought out on a silver platter by Valerie, bartender at Keglers.

The envelopes would offer "a game-changing power, the last Immunity of the season, $500 in cash, or something bad - a consequence," said Ryan Maynard, host of Slay the Stage.

Each contestant would be tempted with the decision to either open the envelope and accept what it's inside, or reject the envelope and shred it live on stage.

First up was Christine.

"Slay the Stage is about taking chances, so I'm going to open the envelope," she uttered, before the contents of the envelope would send her into the Spotlight.

A scary outcome, with Week 7 being the first week that Christine had not held the coveted Immunity voted by the audience.

Lynn was up next.

"I'm a Scorpio, I'm going to open it," she said, too curious not to see what's inside.

Lynn would reveal a twist for herself - the Faded Out challenge - meaning during portions of her performance, the backing track would fade to nothingness, leaving just her voice to be heard in a semi-acapella performance.

The next singer up: Luna.

Luna said no to her envelope, which she almost shredded before finding out what's inside. She ended up turning down $100 - but it came with a hefty cost: choosing an opponent to put in the Spotlight.

Picking who would choose next, Luna chose Corey.

Corey made his way onto the stage, faced with his decision. "So if I don't take an envelope, nothing happens?" He asked.

"That is correct," Ryan replied.

"Oh no, I'm not taking that chance," said the singer, deciding to shred his envelope.

He opened it to reveal the Dead Silence curse, that would have forced him to perform to no applause, no emotion from the judges - and worse - no commentary.

"I'm glad I shredded this, that's kind of nice," he said, happy with his decision before calling up Daisy.

Daisy was overwhelmed by the decision in front of her, tempted by both money and power her first week back after Resurrection.

"I have to go with opening it, I'm a daredevil," she said confidently.

It was the right decision, as Daisy revealed she would obtain the last Immunity of the season, protecting her from what would turn out to be a double elimination that evening.

Caitlan was next.

"I'll take the risk," she said, before her night would be turned upside down.

Caitlan would open up $100 in the envelope, but with it, a curse. She would have to change out her first song, a song she had been practicing all week, for something completely different.

The last contestant to pick was Cecilia.

With a look of curiosity in her eyes, she would be handed the final envelope, tempting her further to know its contents.

"I wanna open it," she said into the microphone.

That decision would present Cecilia with an intense dilemma: $300 in cash - but, in order to accept it, she would force everyone competing, including herself, to sing without the screen. If she declined the money, she would be automatically in the Spotlight.

"I want the money," she said confidently to a cheering audience.

Cecilia's decision would stack the deck against Caitlan, who would now have to switch out her first song and have to perform a new song from memory.

It would force Lynn to sing semi-acapella without the lyrics as well - an intense task.

The decision-making segment would set the tone for an incredible night of suspense, with singers overcoming their challenges & being faced with the Slayer's news - that they were all really invited to a Double Elimination.
