It's clear that Luna has her eyes on Slay the Stage's grand prize, which now sits at a whopping $1500.
Usually, she takes off into a performance, aiming to wow the judges with her impressive vocal ability. This week, however, she led by sharing a bit of an introduction to her new song choice.
"I have decided to go in a different direction with my music," she shared. "I didn't plan on singing this song tonight, but something inside me told me to do this song instead."
That song was Save Myself by Ed Sheeran, not the original Sheeran song she had planned to sing first on Saturday.
The risky decision to change songs last minute is a common trend in the competition, with indecisiveness and trying to avoid the Red Card being the primary goal for most singers, including Keegan who also swapped his songs last-minute.
Luna's decision was a good one, deciding to lead with her emotional connection to her new pick, and avoiding the Red Card altogether.
The judges could feel the emotional connection Luna had with her song choice.
"I don't know the story behind this song - and you don't have to share it if you don't want to - but I can tell this song means something to you," said Jamie Hache to the singer. "I'm so glad you changed your mind."
Luna's performance managed to steer her clear from the Spotlight this week, and she will move onto Resurrection Week this upcoming Saturday.
